After a lot of consideration, I’ve decided to pause—or possibly stop—creating RPG Developer Bakin assets packs, at least for now. This includes several unpublished packs I’ve completed but never released:
- Market Pack Vol. 2
- Watchtower Pack Vol. 1
- Sci-Fi Interiors Pack
- Sci-Fi Interiors Pack – Furniture
- Plus various Terrains packs
All of these are 100% finished, but for now, they’ll remain unreleased.
Why Stop?
There are multiple reasons behind this decision, but the biggest one is simple: the packs haven’t generated enough income to fully justify their continued development. While I’ve enjoyed creating assets for Bakin, the time and effort that go into them need to make sense financially. At this point, it’s no longer viable to keep producing them at the same pace and quality.
Right now, I can’t say for sure if this is permanent or not. This could be a temporary break, or it could be the end of my asset development for Bakin altogether. I may revisit them in the future, if there’s enough demand, but for now, my focus will shift to other projects.
My Current Projects
I’m actively working on two projects—S.C.A.I.O.N, a dystopian sci-fi themed game, and Afterlife: In the Shadows, a linear psychological visual novel-style game (both developed in RPG Developer Bakin). Both will feature custom 3D models exclusive to the games, making them visually unique and distinct from assets packs.

Bakin Tutorials
I’ve been trying to get back into creating Bakin tutorials. However, with so much going on, it’s been difficult to find the time and focus—especially since I’ve also been unwell and prioritizing my health.
I previously mentioned wanting to return to my Smile Game Builder roots in terms of tutorial style. That means the content and format will remain familiar but adapted for Bakin. One of the most popular videos from my SGB tutorials was the “Tips & Tricks” series, where I packed several short tutorials into a single video—focusing on things that didn’t quite fit into standalone or full-length tutorials.
For Bakin, I’ve decided to take a different approach. Instead of bundling mutliple ones into one video, each Tips & Tricks tutorial will be released as a short, making them quicker and easier to digest. This is also part of my goal to meet YouTube’s monetization requirements and bring my subscriber count up to at least 3,000 this year.
Itch.io Assets
What does this mean for my Itch.io assets?
The ones currently available on my Itch.io page will remain intact and as they are. It just means I won’t be creating any new ones. At some point, I might also package them into a single bundle for a one-time bulk price.
Final Thoughts
Aside from my current game projects, I’m also working on other creative endeavors. One of them is The Adventures of Tryggr the Troll, a comic book that’s been in the works for awhile. Additionally, I’ll be creating more gameplay and gaming videos—not necessarily focused on recently released AAA games, but rather games that interest me at the moment.
That said, with everything I’ve mentioned, finding the motivation to continue has been difficult. There have been times where I’ve had to defer plans or struggled to push forward, and I know there may be moments like that ahead. Still, I’m going to keep pursuing these projects and bumble through somehow. My goal is to create content more consistently—if I can push through the physical and mental barriers that have held me back.
Your patience and understanding means a lot, and I appreciate everyone who continues to support my work. There’s still plenty to come—so stay tuned!
